TASK 8
Salespersons

Whether you get profit or loss, it all depends on the work of salesperson. Salespersons are service-bases occupation under sales department. They usually work in a department store or in a company. The amount of company profits can be seen from the sales department itself.

So, in this case salesperson becomes one of the most important parts of a company. A sales person must have the ability to offer products. The ability of a salesperson will influence the desire of consumers to buy products that are marketed or offered.

In selling the products, a salesperson must have knowledge of the products offered. This product knowledge includes the physical condition of the product and its benefits to consumers. The function is when a consumer asks about a product, a salesperson is able to answer it competently, without a doubt. So that this attitude is expected to be able to foster a sense of consumer curiosity about the products offered. Also, a sales person must be able to analyze the target consumers who will be offered by the product. This can be seen from age, economic level, and level of need because it greatly affects the sales process.

When doing the sales process, it is good for a sales person to pay attention to services to consumers. Consumer service is very important to note. This is because consumer satisfaction will greatly affect the sales. Usually consumers will often refuse if there are sales offering their products.
This will be different if a salesperson puts more emphasis on providing solutions to problems faced by consumers. The sales do not tell or force consumers to buy their products, but rather lead to the provision of solutions or suggestions to consumers for the problems being faced by using the products offered. So it will be more visible to invite, not force. A salesperson should also be friendly, neat, and polite, either by telephone or face to face, so that consumers open themselves to the sales.
After implementing all the factors that must be considered in making sales, the rest, a sales person must be able to reanalyze the sales that have occurred whether they are in accordance with the previous plan. This is done as a form of sales report, so that the next sales process can be fixed or improved.
